DIY Necklace Hanger

Hey y'all! Today I am sharing with you how I made a necklace hanger. I have several necklaces (18" and smaller), and thus far I have been hanging them on a nail in my bedroom. This works for awhile until I have so many that one will fall off when I grab another.

It took me a couple of days to do this project because of painting it, but it's a pretty easy DIY.

 Materials:
-Piece of wood in desired length, All-purpose craft paint, drawer handles (Wal-Mart, $5 for 2), D-ring mounts (Wal-Mart, $3), a drill, a screwdriver, a hammer

Instructions:
1. Take a 17" long piece of wood (I'd recommend 18" for simplicity's sake) and paint it (I used Martha Stewart's All-Purpose paint in Blueberry).
2. Decide/measure where to put the knobs. I ended up doing about 3-3.5" between them since there were four total.
3. (If you aren't much for power tools, enlist someone's help here.) My husband drilled the holes, and I screwed on the knobs with the screwdriver.
4. Use the D-ring mounts to nail onto the back for easy mounting onto the wall.

And...wah-la! Hope you enjoyed this DIY. I hope to share more with you!
