This little blog has been in my head for quite some time now. As a kid, I loved to write and make up stories, and last year I had the privilege of guest blogging for The Budget Savvy Bride as I planned my wedding. My friends have suggested the idea of blogging, but honestly, I've been hesitant. However, here I am, and I'm ready to go for it.
I'm a mid-twenties Southern lady who loves to read, stays organized, and crochets (what a grandma!). Over the past two years since I moved to North Carolina, life has been...difficult to say the least. My career has been a roller coaster ride, but I've had some great times too-like spending time with my dearest friends, bonding with my silly family, and marrying my best friend. So here's the inspiration for this blog...'Into Your Own' is about things that I love (and you do too): DIY and Pinteresting things I've attempted, book reviews, pop culture criticisms, and some advice thrown in. Coming into my own as a woman has been a unique journey so far, and I want to start sharing it with you.
